For years now, I've had it in my mind that someday I ought to open a little diner. You know the type, the ones that serve breakfast all day, and that Guy Fieri comes to visit. I've even been bold enough to come up with a few recipes for my menu. I've got one for a "Bananas Foster Oatmeal", one for a "Breakfast Club" sandwich (can't resist the pun on that one), "Sweet Baby Ray's Pulled Pork", and an "Ultimate Broiled (notice it's not grilled) Cheese". I'd also serve pie that is to die for, and I'd make my family's recipes for Hot Cocoa, Coffee (or as we like to call it, Breakfast) Cake and Navajo Tacos. Today I came up with another one for Cheesy Jalapeno Tostadas, that I'd serve with our homemade Spanish Rice and some black beans. Yum! I think I'll get started on my Food Network application right now.
Hi, my name's Tracie and I'm a Mormon. That being said, I've provided enough context for the conversation I had with the receptionist at work today: Christy: (Showing me a photo) What picture is this movie from? Me: Mmmm, Serendipity maybe? Christy: No...you should know this. Me: I should? Christy: (Finally) It's from the movie "Charlie"! Me: How would I know that? I don't watch Mormon movies. They're dumb. Now that I've let the cat out of the bag, I guess I should also confess that I also don't listen to Mormon pop music (other than the original recording of The Forgotten Carols), or read Mormon fiction. So sue me. Let's face it, it's not like most of them are of real quality anyway. When it comes to Mormon music, I'll stick with my MoTab and the hymns of Zion.
